Wenzel tents feature their Weather Armor™ fabrics.  The Weather Armor™ process is a fully integrated weather-proofing system that protects tents from top to bottom. Their unique Weather Armor™ polyester provides tents with tremendous toughness and reliability. The high UV resistant properties inherent in their material is enhanced by adding a polyurethane, water resistant coating, to make the fabric even more weatherproof, while maintaining a richness in color and strength that supports their ten year warranty and quality expectations.  Additionally, Wenzel tents have "Sonic Sealed Floors", which are welded, not sewn.  This feature eliminates stitching and needle holes that create another potential area for water to penetrate.  Armor Tough Seams are also featured.  Throughout the body of the tent, Wenzel's sewing technique incorporates double stitched, lap-feld seams that provide a stronger shingle effect against water.  Weather Armor™ technology is also applied to all threads, zippers and webbing.  Treatment with superior water repellency applications help to enforce these critical areas. Finally, Wenzel's rain shingle layer on the lower portion of the tent wall provides a water shed effect.
